VERO REATO
Vero Reato explores concrete to reveal an unexpected dimension. Associated with architecture, mass, and permanence, in her hands it becomes a sensitive material, capable of evoking the living world, its memory, and its transformations.
Her work draws from the observation of nature, its structures, and its rhythms. Bark, cellular forms, plant fragments, mineral landscapes, or topographies nourish a sculptural vocabulary in which the living world is reinterpreted.
Reliefs, imprints, and inclusions transform the surface of the concrete, while pigments and oxides introduce color and graphic elements. Lines dialogue with volumes, highlighting forms or flowing freely from one element to another.
With Living Architecture, this exploration expands into architectural space. The sculpture becomes modular: compositions are built, adapted, and reinvented according to the proportions and identity of the host venue.
From Living Architecture to Empreintes and Organique Minérale, a single exploration runs through her work: revealing a living presence within the mineral.
